The Grey-tailed tattler

"Stay at home" orders have prevented me from photographing lately. I was glad to get out for a short bird session today.

We spent an hour or so yesterday exploring a new trail near Piti Guns Unit. I went back today to photograph.

I watched this Pacific reef heron (Egretta sacra) hunting at Paseo today. He caught one fish...just before I set up the camera.

We enjoyed a hike to Hila'an Beach today, also making our way through a limestone forest to the site of the old Hila'an village.

Today I went looking for new compositions in a familiar place. The Plaza de España is just a few minutes from home in Hagåtña.

The flame trees are in bloom all over the island. This one, in the hills above Hagåtña, caught my eye during a walk.

I spent a few minutes at the Nimitz Hill Overlook Park this afternoon. It rained off and on as I focused on Adelup Point.

A new (first released in 1989) 500mm lens allowed me to photograph this stand of trees across the Lonfit River Valley the other day.

A few days into my summer vacation, we set out for the Lonfit River Valley. It was a hot day and we never quite made it to the falls.

After finishing my #365project in 2019, I took a two-month break. Today I was back out with my camera at Tarzan Falls.

We ended our year at a wonderful beach wedding. Counting my warmup week, I've published a photo for 373 straight days.
