Night behind a fence

I'm taking photographs nearer home lately. Sill dealing with COVID-19 after-effects. This one, fifteen steps from home.

My wife and I celebrated seventeen years of marriage today. We are thankful for all of God's blessings.

When photographing in the middle of the day, in harsh light, I look for colors, textures, and shadows.

We try to organize a family photo on the major holidays. So...Merry Christmas from the Harpers this year!

I see these White (Fairy) Terns regularly near Paseo, but this was my first time photographing a pair. Fascinating birds.

After nearly two months of dealing with COVID-19 and it’s after-effects, I finally got out to photograph on Sunday!

"Stay at home" orders have prevented me from photographing lately. I was glad to get out for a short bird session today.

We spent an hour or so yesterday exploring a new trail near Piti Guns Unit. I went back today to photograph.

I watched this Pacific reef heron (Egretta sacra) hunting at Paseo today. He caught one fish...just before I set up the camera.

We enjoyed a hike to Hila'an Beach today, also making our way through a limestone forest to the site of the old Hila'an village.

Today I went looking for new compositions in a familiar place. The Plaza de España is just a few minutes from home in Hagåtña.

The flame trees are in bloom all over the island. This one, in the hills above Hagåtña, caught my eye during a walk.
