When I have a chance to explore the island, it is often the little things that catch my attention, like this Western Honey Bee.
Pair of fledgling Yellow Bitterns
I found a Yellow Bittern nest today. Two fledgling chicks were hidden well. I was just able to catch their emerging heads.
Beach at Fouha Bay
This is one of my favorite locations on the island. I see myself going back to explore a little more this summer.
Now Shooting Olympus
I've been shooting with an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III for over a month now. So far, I'm very happy with it!
Gygis alba
I followed and tried to photograph a pair of Yellow Bitterns today, but wound up getting a better shot of this White Tern.
Evening at Agat Bay
We spent the early evening walking at Ga'an Point and the Agat Beach Unit. It was mostly clear and calm at sunset.
Heron at Sunset
I was glad to see a light morph Pacific Reef Heron tonight. The dark morph seems to be more common around here.
Resting Fairy Tern
All the White (Fairy) Terns I saw today were peeking out from behind branches. I just caught this one as it looked my way.
Moon from Barrigada
I haven't taken any moon photos since I purchased a 500mm lens in 2020. Last night was my full moon opportunity.
Bark Abstract
I've tried to photograph this colorful tree bark a few times in the past. It didn't work. I like the results from today.
A rare trip out
Photography outings have been rare lately. Today I managed to spend 45 minutes photographing a Pacific Reef Heron.
Newly painted stadium
I have never taken or posted a photo of the stadium. It had just been painted, so I wasn't getting a better opportunity.
