I made some photos for a KHMG project today – and it’s a good thing. There wasn’t time to photograph anything else.

#365project photos from January 2019
On the Rocks Before Sunset
I shot at sunset tonight and had several options. In the end, I liked the water and clouds in this just-before-sunset image
Homework Night
It was a homework night for us. We took a quick break to photograph arrivals at the airport - missed every shot.
Entering the Plaza at Night
Every shot was an experiment tonight. The idea here was to create a direct line through the gate to the museum.
Dreary Day, Lone Tree
There was a Black Drongo attractively perched in this tree seconds before I pressed the shutter. I must have spooked him.
Pedro Pangelinan Martinez
This Don Pedro Pangelinan Martinez statue sits in Serena Park in Hagåtña. I thought the details looked interesting.
The Melanitis leda
Common Evening Browns were fluttering through the trees this evening. I had to get close with a 70mm macro.
If You Look Closely…
You can see a plane with a flashing red light flying through this 30-second exposure at the Agana Boat Basin.
Lots of Rain Lately
It's been a rainy month. Tropical life means heat, humidity, and surroundings often covered with raindrops.
Cut It Out
Two of the girls spent the evening organizing old school papers. They worked hard, but had fun.
Bamboo and Jungle Plants
I appreciate the variety of colors and textures in our local jungle. Bamboo has a particularly interesting look.
Still Working On It
I bought this ukulele and starting learning how to play it during my 2017 #365project. I still need a lot of practice.
